This was taken at the Tower of London late on 11th November 2014 after the last poppy had been planted in the art installation, Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red. This wonderful piece of remembrance marked the centenary of the outbreak of the Great War. It was created by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper and consisted of 888,246 ceramic poppies filling Tower’s moat on all sides. The photograph was stitched from multiple images using PTGui panoramic stitching software.
